Ever since 1987, we have been a full-service Electrical & Civil Contractor providing quality service to residential, industrial, and commercial clients in the Kingdom of Bahrain. From standard cabling, wiring and lighting fixtures to complete lighting designs or telecommunication infrastructure, from a private villa to entire rows of villas, high-tech residential or commercial multi storied buildings, shopping malls, schools, hospitals and health centers... etc , our licensed engineers and expert technicians are dedicated to working with you to design and implement a solution that meets your needs.

We do have a Mechanical department taking care of Air-conditioning & Ventilation, Refrigeration, Fire Fighting, Plumbing and Drainage works for residential, commercial and industrial buildings. So you get a total building solution under one roof including Civil, Electrical and MEP services.

Our goal for every project is to deliver a building that functions properly and can attain its maximum life expectancy. Because so many of our projects are high-performance buildings with complex systems, we offer in-house commissioning services to help achieve that goal.

Delta is one of the few construction companies in Bahrain to offer in-house commissioning. we can fully commission your facility so all systems are complete, function properly, and add value to the facility's life cycle. We firmly believe commissioning must be an integral part of the project delivery process, from design through construction and occupancy. The benefit you gain by having our commissioning department's oversight for the entire duration is a well-coordinated facility that meets your specific performance criteria. Commissioning is not complete until users have occupied the facility and it is operating to their satisfaction.

Our commissioning procedure is a quality-oriented process for achieving, testing and documenting the performance all life safety systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems and plumbing systems. Once we complete all individual equipment and/or systems testing, we perform a full Integrated Systems Test to verify all the systems work in conjunction with each other as specified.

HOW CAN DELTA CONSTRUCTION CO HELP ME.

3-WAY APPROACH

We have a reputation among our clients for delivering the most detailed and accurate preconstruction program in the market. Our preconstruction service is more than just a baseline budget. It is a comprehensive, detail-oriented, three-pronged approach that includes robust cost estimates, a thorough review of all design and construction documents and a comprehensive operational plan. These three components work together to eliminate cost surprises, accelerate construction, and maximize the building program for your budget.

1. COST ESTIMATING – How can you be sure Delta's cost estimates are correct? Our company's foundation as a self-performing contractor means that we have built our business and our reputation on knowing what things cost. Before we put a cost estimate together, we perform model-enhanced massing studies, analyze the first cost and life cycle cost of the proposed building materials, and consider a variety of ways to build your project. By thoroughly evaluating these different options, you receive the most comprehensive cost information available. We also analyze current local market conditions, consider bid strategies, apply sustainable building approaches, and see where our in-house capabilities might add value to your project. This approach, combined with our extensive historical database of cost components, is what makes Delta's cost estimates the most accurate and comprehensive in the market. Many of our clients have been known to use our estimates to help secure funding for major capital projects.

2. DOCUMENT REVIEW – How can you be assured that your project can actually be built as it is designed, and within the allotted schedule and budget? At every design milestone, a team of construction professionals (including the preconstruction manager, the project manager, the superintendent and our constructability review specialist,) evaluates the design for constructability and quality. We work hand-in-hand with your architects and engineers to make sure the final set of Construction Documents provides the appropriate detail necessary to efficiently build your project. We also evaluate the abilities of the local subcontractor market to perform the work. By thoroughly analyzing the documents, we can reduce the number of change orders, conflicts, and RFIs that stall construction. You benefit from a smoother project delivery and fewer surprises during construction.

3. OPERATIONAL PLANNING – How can your project be built safely, expediently and efficiently? More than just a site logistics plan, our operational plan addresses such details as severe weather preparedness, job hazards, equipment testing and commissioning, quality control, FF&E coordination, building occupancy plans, team communication protocols, and project reporting. The benefit to you is a well thought out approach to how we build your project, which ultimately saves time and money.

At Delta, our commitment to quality is as important as our commitment to safety. Quality Control is a separate department managed independently from the operations team, to maintain its objectivity in evaluating the quality of your project. The strength of our Quality Control program is best illustrated by the team members at Delta who comprise this department. We offer a dedicated and diverse staff of 35 professionals whose sole responsibility is quality control and commissioning. Their backgrounds range from degreed professionals to former craft workers. Several are certified commissioning agents and certified Engineers CQM professionals.

OOur quality control procedure is an ongoing process that occurs throughout the construction process, not a start/stop activity. At your final inspection, we aim to have zero items on your punch list. We try to achieve this goal by maintaining a rolling punch list to correct deficiencies as they occur, rather than waiting until substantial completion. This allows you to occupy the facility as soon as it is completed.

SAFETY FIRST

Our safety record is extremely important, not only because we believe that offering a safe work environment is ethically and morally the right thing to do for our employees, but because our productivity and the success of your project depend on it. We understand that time is money. With few or no lost time incidents, our workforce is more productive, which keeps your project on schedule and in budget.

We have dedicated full-time certified safety professionals who monitor every job and ensure all work is performed in accordance with our safety program requirements. The performance reviews of our superintendents and project managers include safety as a primary component.

Equally important is our approach to client service during the initial preconstruction phase all the way through the occupancy and warranty period. Our client service philosophy centers on the notion of treating your needs and facilities as if they were our own.

Our service support starts during preconstruction with our in-house quality control and commissioning program. We use this integrated approach to make sure your project is constructed in the best manner possible. Our motto is, Do it right. Every Time" We have in-house specialists, including architects, professional engineers and certified commissioning agents, for every division of work, from MEP to building envelope, concrete to carpentry. This team of specialists is dedicated to making sure the project meets our high standards of quality for craftsmanship and functionality. Approximately 10 months after the completion of the project, we conduct a last walk-through with you to address any final warranty items before the warranty period ends.

Building Information Modeling (BIM), virtual construction uses a variety of technologies to facilitate an efficient and cost-effective building process. Our virtual construction program delivers four benefits:

CONSTRUCTION ANIMATION

We can animate our building models to help you experience virtual construction of your project, including scheduling and sequencing the work. Using this animation also gives us more accuracy in our delivery, we can analyze the design for constructability, more clearly communicate installation processes and sequencing with trade workers and train your staff on operating facility equipment. For example the animation below was used to verify the space requirements and installation sequencing of an air handler unit in the basement of an existing facility.
